Military table 160 x 80 cm This piece of furniture is designed for the Katholic Serviceman's Home (Katholiek Militair Tehuis) in Utrecht in 1923. The stretchers and legs of the table are attached using halving joints that are strengthened with sturdy nuts and bolts. The top does not rest directly on the longitudinal stretchers but on a number of narrow cross pieces to create a light, spacious construction. For this table a high-quality oak is used. Every piece of furniture is numbered, has a matching certificate and contains a chip.
